I went to the beach, to Hilton Head, to pick up my kids. They were there for 3 weeks getting extremely tan. Well, at least the girls got extremely tan.

Now I'm back home and finally getting back into the swing of things. I should be posting photos a little more often now. My mom has a pretty nice garden so I took some pictures of flowers, which I've discovered I kind of like doing. Even though other people's flower photos bore me. But it's the process of taking photos that I like, really. Not the end product so much. I don't look at most of my photos over and over but I sure like taking them.

The kids are in South Carolina with my parents for a few weeks. I'm trying to stay connected by taking goofy pictures of myself and posting them on Flickr. I'm not sure if it's helping with any of their homesickness, if they have any, but it's been fun for me.
